Wilson Lane Water Main Replacement Project

The 2025-2044 Comprehensive Plan update identified a section of asbestos/concrete water main in City of Monroe Water Infrastructure that needs to be replaced due to aging pipe. This Project has identified approximately 850 feet of 4" pipe that will be replaced with new Ductile Iron pipe. The project is located within Wilson Lane and the alley between S Sams and S Madison, south of Pike Street and north of Powell St. The project has been identified to be constructed in summer of 2026 and the Design and Construction team will be doing an in-house design of the project during the Summer/Fall of 2025.
