2025 Annual Paving Project

Project Update:

Project Construction is currently on pace to begin at the beginning of June.

This project will involve street improvements to the following sites:

  • Site 1 is 146th Street SE from Fryelands Blvd to 169th Drive SE and 169th Drive SE from 146th Street SE to Tye Street SE.

  • Site 2 is W Main Street from 177th Avenue SE to 178th Avenue SE.

The 2025 street preservation efforts include resurfacing aging roadway surfaces, as well as updating nearby sidewalk ramps to current federal standards. When the streets are resurfaced, the process typically involves grinding away the top two or three inches of existing asphalt and then repaving with new asphalt to original grade.

Project Schedule:

April 7: Bid Advertisement

April 24: Bid Open

May 13: Bid Award

June 2: Begin Project Construction

July 25: End Project Construction

December 2025: Project Completion
