Monroe Community Food Drive - benefitting the Sky Valley Food Bank
During the month of March, Monroe City, Police and Fire Employees will be collecting and donating food items for the Sky Valley Food Bank. On Friday, March 27th all food & donations collected will be delivered to the Sky Valley Food Bank at 9 am.
On Saturday, March 28th the Monroe Rotary Students of the Month will be stationed at all of the local grocery stores collecting donations for the food bank.
Non-perishable food or monetary donations will be accepted.
List of ongoing Food Needs:
canned vegetables and fruits oatmeal and cereals
peanut butter and jelly packaged dinners
tuna and canned meats potatoes/oranges/apples
sugar and flour stew and chili
pasta and rice tomato paste and sauce
soups and top ramen baking and pancake mix
canned tomatoes gift certificates for food
pork and beans/baked beans diapers and baby wipes
