The City of Monroe, in partnership with Republic Services, is hosting the annual spring clean-up event on Saturday, May 10th from 8am to 12pm. The event is free to Republic Service’s residential collection customers with city-limits and will be held at the Evergreen State Fairground’s Speedway, 14405 179th Ave SE. An event flyer/release form will be included with your April utility bill. This form must be presented on the day of the event as proof of residency. Items that will be accepted include regular household trash (must be bagged), furniture, and scrap metal. While this is not a complete list, hazardous waste, yard waste, construction debris, roofing materials, and tires will not be accepted.
