Due to water levels, 2 city parks may experience upcoming closures.

The National Weather Service forecasts Skykomish River water levels that may cause flooding at Al Borlin Park and Sky River Park Dec 31 - Jan 5.

As of 08:22 AM, Tuesday, December 31, 2019 the Skykomish River at Gold Bar is forecast to reach 11.5 feet at approximately 10:00 PM on Tuesday, December 31, 2019, cresting at 13.42 feet at approximately 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January 01, 2020.

This rise in water level may cause flooding that requires the closure of Al Borlin Park at approximately 10:00 PM, Tuesday, December 31, 2019.

This rise in water level may cause flooding that requires the closure of Sky River Park at approximately 04:00 AM, Wednesday, January 1, 2020.
